The registration process for the highly revered Amarnath Yatra 2025 officially began today, April 14. Pilgrims from across the country can now register through both online and offline modes to take part in this sacred journey to the Amarnath Cave Shrine in Jammu and Kashmir.

Yatra Schedule and Daily Limit

The yatra is scheduled to commence on July 25, 2025, and conclude on August 19, 2025. Due to safety and logistical reasons, only 15,000 pilgrims per day will be allowed. Early registration is strongly advised to ensure participation and meet the necessary health and age requirements.

Online Registration Process

Pilgrims can register online via the official Shri AmarnathJi Shrine Board (SASB) website. Here’s a brief step-by-step guide:

  • Visit the official SASB website and select “Online Services.”
  • Click on “Yatra Permit Registration” and accept the terms.
  • Fill in personal details, upload a passport-size photo and a Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC).
  • Verify your mobile number and complete payment (approx. ₹220).
  • Download the Yatra Permit upon successful registration.

Offline Registration Details

For those opting for offline registration, centres have been established at Vaishnavi Dham, Panchayat Bhawan, and Mahajan Hall in Jammu:

  • Collect a token slip three days prior to the selected yatra date.
  • Undergo a medical check-up and registration at Saraswati Dham the next day.
  • Obtain an RFID card to complete the process.

Important Advisory

Pilgrims are advised to carry all necessary documents and health certificates, and complete all steps in advance to avoid any inconvenience. The Amarnath Yatra is more than a pilgrimage—it’s a deeply spiritual journey. Plan responsibly for a safe and memorable experience.
